165 and 195 Superchip differences,

Are there any real differences, or is it just a set of beiges and a bit more boost that makes the difference?

Keep hearing contradicting things, and its annoying!! :x

195 superchips are used with the beiges and make your car run like poo and go slower! the map on the 195 is crap
the 165 superchip is better!

I personally have the 165 Chip, which made 173 on the rollers.

Basically doing a conversion on a mates S1, fairly high spec 1.9 CVH, and there is a 165 superchip on E-Bay, just wondered if that would be ok,

chubbs.....

there is no reason not to chip a standard engine, if its running well and not using 3 litres of oil a week
My engine has had a new headgasket, valves and Kent cam fitted and thats it. I did that because it had broken 100k, its still on the original bottom end :)
