16in alloys whats the lowest i should go 40mm?
hi all my 1.1 fiesta mk3 is in the my mates bodyshop at the mo having the rsturbo kit installed and a light matalic blue paint.
im getting some tasty 16inch wheels for it to, but wonna lower my car lots im not gonna get a spring kit i can afford better! i was gonna get the blistine sprintline kit but im not sure dunno what would be best maybe avo coilovers??? im not having any arch work done and im not really up for lots of wheel rubbing. ideally i think a 60mm drop would look pukka but theres more to think about than looks.
thanks for your help ppl
il post sum pics of the car when its done, im gona get 1.8 zetec engine soon!!!! wooha

I got 1.1 mk3.5 and just put on 15 inch wheels with full 60mm gmax kit and the rubber is 195/50/15, i used 4mill spacers and theres no rubbing except slightly on the arch lining on full lock (sorted it out by removing the lining) so if you get 45 or 40 profile tyres you shouldnt need to do anything except maybe remove the arch lining or cut it just a tad to go with 60mm but highly recommend avo coilovers, mates got them and he's got 17's in and had to do only slight archwork. hope ány of that helped

Got 1.1 aswell and found out its a toughie, things you can do to it are: exhaust, pipercross airfilter (no induction kits available for 1.1's), cams, chipped. Well thats atleast something you can buy off shelf. word of warning tho, mate had all this done before getting his 2 litre mondeo conversion and the car was extremely loud running after cams etc. and not loud in good sense
