in the feb issue of revs it has a feature on how to fit 17"s to a mk3 fezza. Not sure how common it is but it seems to be a pretty detailed guide. worth a look me thinks.

Sorry mate but IMHO that guide's a fcuking joke - 20mm spacers at the back and 3mm at the front is just not needed.

Some good points there but to be honest it's always better to have your arches professionally rolled instead of taking a hammer to them.

yeah defo get it done pro if you got the cash. But if you got the guts you can sure as hell give it a good go.Personally i ruin anything i touch so id leave it to be done properly. You see that twin exhaust feature. Now that is a joke. It looks like metal guttering? oh well someone might try it oneday. but i won't.

Also as every one seems to forget the mk3 and mk3.5 are different suspension. I have put 7.5 x 17 team dynamic 2000 rims on my car (92 car with 95 suspension) no spacers whatsoever (sorry guys cant remeber what ofset they are)

Needs lowering further tho!!!

I read that and it put me off buying 17s all together......didn't like the idea of those huge spacers....and griding a bit off my suspension!!!!!

Would it be easy to fit 17s to my M reg Si????

P.S. ZetecSX im from Norfolk too!!!!!!!!!!!

get a set of 17's with 35mm offset and use a set of 5mm spacers at the back. they [ERRR] clear the suspention spring lower plate and arch work will be needed, how much depends on how low u want it.... :Q )
