i would have thought that isn't so bad at 18. but I reckon that you could chop maybe £100-£200 off that at best.

Mate thats an amazing quote considering you are 18 with a crash under your belt and the car you want to insure. People do insure rs turbos at 18, but they might be paying alot for insurance, and they wont have a crash on their record.

Just because I keep talking about definetly doing it doesn't mean I'm actualy going to do it.

swiftcover.com seems pretty cheap, thats who i decided to go with. but they refuse to quote on some cars unless you have at least 1 years ncb. I tried for fun to get insured on an frst on the back of my mum whos 53 and they wouldnt insure it because she has 0 ncb since she hasnt driven for god knows how many years. but give it a go

if you ring quinn up they can sometimes give you a better deal than on the net. i knocked £100 off my policy when i rang them up. you have to have the guts to be pushy with them though!

I am with quinn and was really impressed with their quotes.

This is my second policy as my main one with all the ncb is on my main one for the 200sx.

So all in all, I think quinn did a god job to insure me, 0 no claims, GF as a named drive on a provisional, £516 for a 1.8 16v XR2i.
