1990 White Fiesta RS Turbo
Here for sale is my Fiesta RS turbo.
1990 H plate.
I have owned the car since 2006, 10 previous owners.
It has loads of history, original handbook, a stack of invoices, virtually all the previous MOT’s. Service book is stamped up to 2001 when the mileage was at 111,792. The current mileage is 25,000 on the clock but I have a receipt for the clocks being changed at 130,008 and being reset to 0 so the assumed total mileage is 155,000 odd.
The car has been SORN’ed for some time, due to funds and house move etc.
A while ago it had the inner and outer sills replaced, front floor pans repaired and some sections on the chassis rails straightened out due to jack damage. Then the underside was waxoyled. In true RS style the headgasket blew about 50 miles later and it hasn’t really been back on the road since.
I replaced the head and got an MOT for it in August 2009, it has done minimal mileage since (probably less than 5 miles) I reckon it will go through an MOT now with no issues.
My plans for the car were to use it as a weekend toy and improve it as i go but i have recently purchased a Capri and with only one spot in my garage it’s been relegated to the drive for the past few months.
Engine
Kent CVH37 cam.
Vernier Pulley.
SAMCO’s (Coolant and Boost).
Pace alloy Rad and intercooler.
Strut Brace.
Stainless exhaust.
The car has never been professionally set up with the cam fitted, this is something i was planning to do.
Interior
Pretty much standard, Drivers door card is frayed at the top. Original steering wheel but normal gearknob. It has a stealth shelf fitted with some big speakers, i have removed the speakers from the front as i was intending to put it all back to original. No head unit fitted.
Also has a rear strut brace.
Exterior
Pretty standard as can be seen in the photos, it is lowered on some adjustable suspension (i think it is SPAX off the top of my head).
De-locked.
The boot lid is corroded in the corners, however it comes with a replacement which needs paint. The boot lid is a proper one made for a spoiler but has no swage line, also comes with black boot lid sticker
The usual filler cap area is showing corrosion, but also comes with a ford repair panel.
Minor spots of corrosion near sunroof, and the arches are not mint.
The car has been shunted in the past and the rear panel has never been replaced, i think it was registered as a cat c.
In general the paint could do with some attention.
Comes with new Ford wishbones, one is fitted to the car and one not.
Cobra alarm and immobiliser, comes with 2 remotes.
Good tyres all round
I can’t think of anything more to say at the min, please feel free to ask any questions.
Just to confirm, there is no Tax or MOT.
Car is located near Peterborough.
I am after £850 as it is.
I can MOT it for more cash but I thought if someone is going to break it, it’s pointless. Lets say £925 with MOT.
Thanks for looking
