Re: 2.0 Litre Conversions
Well I used to get about 31mpg with the 1.6 engine but with the 2.0 since plummeted to 26 but now back up to 38 running lean. Will get a real figure when I get the engine running sweetCossieDan :what will the difference in economy be with the 1.6 or 1.8 gearbox?
at the mo i get just over 200 miles out of 30 quid normal driving, meaning occasionally putting my foot down but not motorway driving or anything (dunno if thats good or bad?)
edit: thats in a 1.6 ghia

Between 200-300 miles depending on how thirsty the engine's feeling lol.

i have a diesel box on my 2.0, and i do say it makes for a very fun drivable car, the si's 1.6 box tops out at 125

Re: 2.0 Litre Conversions
you all need the st170 2ltr and 6 speed box!
mine will hit the limiter in 4th at 120, (on the dunlop bridge straight at donnington) i think it shold be good for 140 in 5th and 160 in 6th, but have never had the balls to hold it flat out (or the private test track time to do it)
the gps nav is about 8 % out so i think it puts it at 110 in 4th 128 in 5th and it should do 147 in 6th
if i ever get asked to a daddy thrash i would love to give it a try, but not going to risk that sort of speed on the roads
