2.0 or 1.8 gearbox

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

2.0 or 1.8 gearbox

i am doing a 2.0l conversion into my xr2i and don't know which gearbox to use shall i use the

2.0l mondeo gearbox

or the 1.8 xr2i 16v gearbox any suggestions

use the xr2i box. the mondeo one will not fit

As above. Use any 16v fiesta box. A cvh one will also fit.

cheers mate, is there any difference between the 1.6si box and flywheel and the 1.8 16v box and flywheel

Fly wheels are the same. I'd go for the 1.8 box if you can find one though as they have longer ratios.
