Please can you guys help, done the 2.0 conversion on my fez si, had it done for a good 18 months now with no problems, i am running the 1.6 inlet, 2.0 fuel rail, ecu, air flow meter, throttle body etc.

have recently developed a fault. when the car is revved high(i think between 5000 and 6000 revs but not sure exactly) it will cut out and fails to start, this failure is for quiet some time, it also seems to do the same if the engine is under medium to high amounts of load! started a couple of days ago and would get it started again, it is now at the point that i cant start it at all.

it made no difference weather the car was hot or cold, i have swapped the ecu, airflow meter, coil pack for the 1.6 items that used to be on and checked the spark plugs and electrode gaps.

the fuel pump is workin when ignition is turned on and fuel is gettin to the fuel rail, i have also put a new fuel filter on.

any ideas any one??? it is really urgent so any ideas are much appreciated.

My 2.0 si did something similar , so I traced it to the coil pack but before that i tried the 1.6 coil but it was no better ,tried a 2.0 coil and it was fine have you changed the ht's? mine started to chew through a few fine now though
