hi al, ive searched for my ansewer, as i know it's been asked before (but i forgot the answer) basically which mondeo is best to buy? i know its not the series 3, its either the series 1 or 2 (whats the registration range of both of these?), whats the pro's and con's of both?
where's the best place to get them from aswell? ebay, findapart etc i know, but any mondeo forums which are half-decent? been on a few and couldn't get anywhere

tar mate, is it the mk1 or mk2 engine i want? whats the pro's and con's of each?

It's the Mk2 Mondeo engine you want. The Mk1 suffers from sticky valves. Being newer you are more likely to find a lower mileage Mk2 engine as well.

Scrapy or ebay. I found mine on ebay, went and had a look ended up getting it. IF you get it off ebay, normaly you can try n get the people selling to throw all the bits like maf and ecu in as well as they dont normaly think of these as separate items, thats what i did!
