Hi, i changed my 1.6si engine for a 2.0L including injectors, trottle body and maf sensor etc but it will not start. the car starts fine with the 1.6 ecu but only turns over with the 2.0 ecu and it will not fire. the 2.0L ecu has TELL written on it but it doesnt work, any help would be really useful.

TELL has internal PATS if I remember correctly, you need an ECU with external PATS. If the ECU code begins with 95/96 or later then its definately the problem.

I run an ecu with the code DEEP in mine, i think that this is the most common one you'll find.
