Iv been thinkin of engine swaps that i can do n iv been offered a mondeo 2.5 V6 st24 engine n box for £1000 straight outta the factory.
Does ne1 know if theres [ERRR] chance of getn it inside a mk3 fiesta engine bay? as 1 place iv spoke 2 said they can get nething in newhere given half a chance but dont wanna drive down the road n have it fall out the bottom :lol:

I asked about this before I had my conversion done and apparently you won't get it in the front of the car if ya get me.

i looked into doing this in my old xr2 the chassis leg needs to be moved for the rear bank of cylinders custom mounts would be needed, the gearbox is longer so the other chassis leg will need altering (may not on mk 3) then there is a problem with clearence for the exhaust manifolds. one option is to have it in the rear like Ian Howell did a few years ago this car is now being finished off by a friend of mine to a very high standard. it should be fun when finished
