2 cars on 1 policy insurance help

Postby BC DEVILLE on Tue Jul 29, 2008 1:57 pm

Just rang up admiral as i was told they do this 2 cars on the 1 policy.

What i want is my xr2i to be insured for about 4000miles a year

Then get another car which i can drive to work and be not too bothered about.

was thinking about 1.6 si or if that works out a bit too expensive get a 1.1 fez. which would be insured for 6000miles a year.

Bare in mind i am only 18 and have one years no claims and 3 points and my renewal quote for my 2i is £1400
admiral quoted £4200 for both cars :o that is daylight robbery

does anyone know cheap insurance companies that do this Or does anyone have two cars and how do they go about insuring them.

one thing you could try is see if on ur policy if you can drive other peoples cars, if you can insure one car and put the other car in say your dads name on the log book so this means its someone elses car and your insured third party.
