2003 (52) SEAT Leon Cupra 20v turbo *SOLD*
Not sure if anyone on here will be interested, but up for sale is my Leon cupra. It's a fantastic car and I don't really want to sell it, but another car has come up at a good price that i can't refuse so it needs to go.
Specs:
SEAT Leon cupra 20v turbo, 2003 (52 reg), in Platinum Grey.
Mileage: 164,000 (please keep reading!)
TAX: 6 months bought the other day - Expires 30/09/12
MOT: 20/10/2012 - Last MOT only 2 advisories for both front tyres being low on tread. These have been replaced with decent part worns.
Mods: Only mods externally are the Leon cupra R front splitter, and team HEKO front wind deflectors. Engine wise it has a Pipercross panel filter with drilled airbox and it also has a Cupra R oval exhaust fitted from the cat-back (sounds quite nice, but not loud)
Interior: Standard cloth trim no rips/tears/sags. Standard seat stereo with 6 CD changer. Also has a boost gauge fitted in a nomad A pillar pod.
Service history: Going back to the mileage... Although it is quite high there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way the car drives. It was originally a lease car and has a load of service history for a lot of work that was done during the early years. It has been extremely well cared for and this shows from the way it looks/drives. It has the book stamped up to 100k odd miles (will check later) and I believe the cambelt was done along with a service in around June 2011 before i purchased it.
I have also just spent a bit of money on it after having a check over at Victoria Volkswagen. It's just had the standard suspension put back on with brand new top mounts and bearings. It also had an coolant temp sensor replaced, and 2 genuine outer CV boots done.
Bad points: There are a few stone chips on the bonnet which have peeled the paint slightly (sounds worse than it is). There is a chip in the windscreen (although this passed the last MOT and hasnt got any bigger.) and also one of the plastic roof rail trims is missing.
Couple of pics that i have at the moment... More recent ones to follow at the weekend once it's had a proper clean
Edition 38 '11 by bakewell001, on Flickr
Most importantly - PRICE: £2,195 o.n.o
Location: Ramsgate, KENT
Just sorting out my private plate removal, but this will be done prior to sale.
Thanks for looking. If you're interested PM me or call 07725 69 39 87
Cheers, Steve

Re: 2003 (52) SEAT Leon Cupra 20v turbo for sale
I loved my Leon CR, but I did have trouble selling itaround 6 month ago not a single call. In the end it went to webuyanycar.com as I just needed rid and still got £1800, it did have lower mile (108k) but the 20v turbo engines are great a mate has done over 250k in a A3 with just normal servicing.

Re: 2003 (52) SEAT Leon Cupra 20v turbo for sale
Yeah, i'm a little concerned it could be slightly tricky to sell in the current climate, but it's a decent car which doesn't need anything and i will advertise it in a lot of places.
Even if i was desperate though, i would rather take a punt with the jokers on eBay than give it to webuyanycar... Robbing baxterds
