2012 fiesta heater trouble

Hi I have had several fiesta over the years and now own a 2012 model ,
I have been having trouble with the heater /air con started it would not go cold but now with air con on it won't go hot if you turn air con of it gets warm but not hot anyone got any ideas what could be wrong.
At first I thought it may be heater control valve but can't find one , then I wondered if this year has the valve or is it controlled a different way .
I hope someone can help but not sort what is causing the problem.
