I will be starting a new job soon so i'll be working hard for them and the car will be put to one side for 4 weeks. Well i've got to run it in aswell so i hope to get its run in map done Oct or Nov ?

So why not just go for a larger set of injectors?
What come's next? who care's, why worry about things over which you have no control. Freedom is a voyage of discovery with all the enjoyment of seeing things and experiencing events for the first time. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Yes it has... loads and loads of times!
Why 8 inj setup? It was already discussed here... and I think it was discussed on this topic...

Engine is now finished and i hope to get it mapped in the new year.
Why the new year? [ERRR] i'm busy building custom parts for customs and now doing something for the XR2 boys so very busy and also doing some welding to the chassic and basic repairs.

I'm just working on th engine again as it was on the rolling road last week and i'm not happy with the Alpha ECU as good as it is its just not for me now and am now upgrading it when i get the time and money.
Also with the upgrade with the ECU i thought i would do another modification and did a deal with AustenW on passion ford and got these.

Looks Amazing!!
The DTA PRO is an awesome ECU.
My mate has it on his MGB V8. Really good piece of kit if not a little tricky to work with.. But once you've got the hang of it its really good.
Not many places will do DTA mapping for N/A engines though so If you know of anywhere as the place my mate normally takes it to in Essex havent been that brilliant

have seen some Simtek harness and they really seem to rock on the subject. Would go for that route myself mate if could afford it. Ace stuff!!!
For 8 inj setup with the extra 4 being fired at 85% or so duty cycle of the first ones you need a good ecu and DTA, for the spec and for what I've heard of them, are really up to the job. Once again, good choice
your car is really coming along really well mate... you are taking your time to get it all going but it's showing to be really worth the wait!!!!

Its taken a long time as i run a part time job building engine, CNC machine work and custom make parts and that takes up alot of time but it does bring in the money to get the car done.
Its my RS2k quickshift linkages that take up alot of time building.
Simtek looms cost £400+vat
The S60 pro DTA cost £750+vat
The mapping and running in time cost £500+vat
