Thats 8 injectors :D
The engine above is a rally car and that makes 220bhp @ 8000rpm's from a 1.6 and i hope it will give me a wider power band and more torque

i just finished nailing on a set of bike throttle bodies to my 2.0l zetec, its going for RR setup this sat hopefully so we shall see what power it makes then :D :D :D

It has been a long time, i've been helping my dad get though cancer so i've been helping him doing bits on other peoples cars and very little on my own but its slowly getting there.

Good to see you managed to get the bike throttle bodies to fit, remember what i sad about throttle bodies... They can make a turbo sound gay :lol: I bet you'll get about 185bhp with the S.E.C.S management.

Thats my next step for me, I've been looking at MoTeC, Pectel, S.E.C.S and many more ECU myself but i'm going to wait as there will be something new out soon that will be even better for what it want and with some more development on the engine i've been told that the 300bhp can be broken :o so keep your eye's on this topic in the future.

Thanks mate, he's doing well.

The only thing i'm worried about when the engine is done is the nosie it will make as it only has aone box zorst and the throttle bodies :cry: :devil: :D

HA!! don't moan about that!. my 1.1 does 200 miles to the tank, maybe 220 if i drive slower. but apparently i've been told it's my driving, not the car. oh well :)

well ive seen lots of proof either way, thats the only reason i asked

alot of it comes down to individual setups and mappers skills/preferences i think. obviously idling on the sort of cams your running is gonna be tricky, thought about [ERRR] sort of rpm you wanna bring the 2nd bank in at?

Just thought if the bonnet doesnt shut, get a RS2000 'bump' turn it sideways and voila space for the bonnet to close.

Or you could just cut a hole in the bonnet and mesh it :lol:

whops did a double post

It shuts.. I did the old bubble gum on the manifold trick and shut it to see how much clearence i have, not much but i do have solid mounts.. well almost soild

Excellent work with the engine fitting mate - it's a tight fit but looks tidy and clean :D

I do enjoy those exhaust manifolds :D As andy says, get finished up and get it mapped! I've lost out on two months of driving thanks to just missing my mapping date the first time, only one and a half months left to play! :cry:

I tried to get it booked in sooner but he had two dates on in the middle of my holiday when i'm in Koz :cry:

When it does go in for mapping Mike my mapper is going to give me a crash corse in mapping the Alpha managment that i have, It a pain to map and not the best management around, Hope to get a Omex 700 management to replace the Alpha one.
