Very nice indeed. You did a proper job of lunching the ZVH from the looks of things!
My dad's 2.0 N/A Zetec makes 227bhp, so even at 2.1 yours must be on about a 10.5:1 ratio is it? Must be one hell of a drive

wtf?! You can clearly get much more power from it then! Are you willing to tell more? Valve sizes etc? Perhaps that's all that's left, but with a 2.1 at 13.1:1 it could be making 260 odd! Mad!

Oh right I see, sounds like a top notch engine, who built it and did the head work etc? Must be some more power to come in mapping then? Or maybe it's the lack of harness pads and spinner hub caps I'm not saying 240bhp is a crap figure, just wondering why there are such differences between the two engines

I built the engine and Andy weston @ cylinder head developments did all the machine work on the head.
More to come with mapping and at a later date the management will be swapped for something like a MoToC, Pectel or Omex to run 8 injectors

It'll be sweet. My dad's pulls from about 1,250 rpm, pulls strongly from 2,000+, very driveable motors.

I built one for my mate to a same spec but with smaller throttle bodies and tamer cams and that was great to drive,
Just not looking forward to the fuel bills as my old ZVH engine did 250 miles to a full tank round town.

TBH the Caterham's an utterly driveable car. It's never overheated, doesn't judder, pulls away fine, pulls from low revs...not too sure about economy, but in terms of reliability it's been solid.
