I would but there is a few things i'm worried about and one is.... RUST.. It looks mint in the picture but it isn't

The roof has got a few bubbles on it now from rusting inside out. I've done my best to repair most of the car but i don't see it lasting much longer and as i said i don't want to spend any more money on her.

I have had loads of offers on the engine alone at £7.5k and i reckon i will get about £4k+ for the rest of the bit so £11.5k on a newer car is better

I want a Audi S3 and you can pick one up for about £6k and i'll use some of the money left on tuning that and fitting lambo wheels etc etc

Ah ok fair play mate. For some reason I thaught the s3 ran a 3.2 lump.

Lovely cars thaugh audis. My grandad has a MINT TT in his garage. He baught it new and has done 6000 miles in it and its the last of the old shape. Love it.

I think the Audi S3 is a very good choice - A mate on here had a 210 model for a while with only a 265(ish) map, and it really was incredibly quick, with all the traction you could want, while still being an amazingly comfortable road car It's cars like that which, albeit unfortunately, can make someone very easily stop modding an old Ford for the sake of something so good straight out of the box It'll be sad to see your Orion being broken eventually, but the Audi is such a good car for the money

can i ask you how deep the your dry sump is? i been thinking about one for my old 100e but ive got soooooo little room its untrue and i only just managed to modify a cvh sump to fit on the zetec bottom end

I'm not 100% sure how low it is?

If you look at a 1.8 sump, there is the pic where the exhaust goes, well i would say 35mm lower than that?

My manifold was made for a Zetec with a 1.8 sump at the time and as you can see i had to cut and weld the dry sump for it so you can get a idea how low it is

Fitted the air box the weekend

Just need to do some mods to the strut brace to clear the air box fit the turbo rad

Tried to fit the strut brace and that doesn't fit and also the heater blower motor

The Strut brace is a easy one as it only needs a notch cut out of it to clear the air box

The blower motor will be modified to fit also

why spend all the time loving the engine if the chasis has surphace rust sorry for the downer just down want old henrys rust worm killing this awesom car

Read the rest of the posts an you see the that the car will be broken next year for that reason, even thought its only surface rust on the under side and can be sorted but not going to bother as the life of the car will only be another year or so.
