2i 8v lump and 1.4si lump queries.

last night a 2i came into the local scrappy. i got the intake of it and the induction kit, i tried to fit it to the 1.4 but the inlet on the throttle body is too small.

would i be able to change to the 2i throttle body without messing up my mixture and fueling? will i have to use the 2i throttle position sensor and MAF sensor??? by the looks of things, the intake manifolds are the same so i should only need the upper half of the TB if you know what i mean.???

also it should help performance as well because it will flow more air
