2L Throttle Body fitting
Just got myself a 2l tb, nice one simonT
whats the best way to fit it? ive done a search and found out some stuff about it but im stll not 100% sure.
Also how do i make sure the throttle opens fully???
if any could take a pic of how they fitted it, like a close up pic of the linkage and the bracket would be good!
Cheers

i think there are just some clips holding it on. the cable just needs removing from the old one and fitting in exactly the same way to your new one. have a go at it. apparently its very easy.
Tip of the month: Don't put your new iPod Nano in the washing machine
Been gone for 6 months, did anybody even notice?

Linkage needs swapping from old to new, too.
Some can be swapped, some can't. You'll need molegrips to loosen off the studs in the ally (careful not to snap them).
I had to use an extra-long bolt instead of the stud as mine was snapped.
You also need to file the throttle stop down as the linkage/TB combo usually only opens up to around 85%-ish.
Best of luck,
Al
