2l zetec on carbs

does anyone know what exactly i would need to do to whack carbs on? also which should i go for 40s or 45s? i know i should get throttle bodies but they're way too expensive soo...second best. where can i get an inlet manifold to fit them to the 2.0 zetec? thanks! Aid
