has any one tried putting a 2ltr head on a 1.6 zetec si?

i doubt it, the difference in the chamber diameter would cause problems

i take it your asking for flow purposes.. its not really cost effective to tune the 1.6 as it is to just drop the 1.8 in.

yeah as stated 2.0 head does not fit on 1.6 it does on the 1.8 which is a git for all us si drivers damn those small valves why why why suppose if i didnt have them it would be high insurance so cant complain :rolleyes:

only option really is to turbo charge to get past it..

but everything you need to blow the 1.6 besides the pistons you would need for a 2.0... so it wouldent really be worth it again.

the 1.6 zetec E is proberly alot better than what your last car was running at a guess.. but once people want to start to tune them.. they learn theres not much they can really do, and the engine gets disregarded again.

another option tho is good management and throttle bodys or carbs,
you can allways carry them over to 1.8 and 2.0 aswell with just a remap needed.
