2WD 4pots calipers
I know it has been already talked... but has already done this? besides rickfiesta and Paulj (the owner of the black FRST Type-R I think).
Have sitting in the garage a set of this calipers and a set of escort cossie calipers...
I know how rickfiesta got them in his FRST (I was there), but wanted to know other point of views to this.
Also, does the std FRST master cylinder up to the job?
Thanks.

ya, 4pots are better than single pots, but what I want to know if the all system will be fine.
you can upgrade your system and end up with worst braking power... you should know that!
The hub need to be drilled open and a thread was also needed to be done on the hub. The caliper does not have thread (as the std FRST calipers have) and by so the bolt is bolted on the hub.
the disc needed to be machined has well.
I think that this is the best way to go, but maybee there is someone else with a brighter way of doing it.

well i didnt know that how can u make the braking worse? the pedal will travel to aus and back and feel toss but the braking will be better
and machining discs aint a option i would go for

here's the deal, your putting bigger calipers on a car, they have bigger pistons in them, so the caliper has a bigger bore inside it, thus needing more fluid to fill them, the standard master cylinder won't deliver the right amount of fluid cos the bore on the fiesta master cylinder is like a pee-shooter, the pedal will travel further, and the brakes won't really be biting untill the pedal is pressed quite a way down. When i upgraded my brakes all round, the pedal was s**t, so a bigger master cylinder was called for, the differnce was staggering, and the bite on the brakes is right up the top.

the braking was still better though was it not? u just had to press the pedal an uncomfutable distance

in my opinion, the standard master cylinder for use with bigger brakes is not of any use, the car will stop safely don't get me wrong, but you get a lot of travel on the pedal occur, not so bad if your leaving the rear standard though.
