i just finished mine yesterday, putting it into a car with no locks, dont bother with the 'universal' kits, been ther done that.
get some ford stuff, i had fiesta si stuff with all the ford alarm wires on it, so i just hacked them off until i had Red, brown, yellow, and white, then make ur own loom from normal auotmotive wire linking all 4 wires between the locks, run the brown to earth, red to live, and u cut into the yellow and white to goto the alarm output channels.
i put an inline blade fuse holder (20a) on the live feed, thus taking the need away for fuse box modding, and still keeping it the standard fusing. cost £15 for the wires, fuses, tape, relays, etc and £30 for the lacthes, and handles which came via a friend from a scrappie. hope this helps any more questions just ask.
