Hey peeps...not updated for a while now so thought i would let u know how im getting on...

got a rear disc conversion kit (thanx Gaz @ Racespec) which ill fit when my rear link kit is ordered and fitted :top: :top:

front bumper is now 95% complete....and kinda went like this

first mission was to get the troublesome front splitter on so went down to B+Q and got some brackets to fibreglass to the bumper along the inside...trial fitted them:

Image

fitted better than i thought so i secured them in place:

Image

this made the bumper look like this

Image

next things to attack was the big bar...wanted to shorten it down...

so marked out what needed cutting away

Image

then cut it out

Image

Image

finished there with the bumper looking a bit like this

Image

will carry on tomo and bond the bar back together

:top: :top:

The car looks great mate!

Are you going to compare your ACTs to before and after or are you changing the intercooler setup too?

If you haven't got an ACT gauge - get one, I've got mine fitted in the turbo now, really nifty bit of kit :D

Cheers,

Andy

it was in a place called alton...in the middle of no where like most places are LOL

adam....i dont know what the guy was like...he seemed sound but we willingly left as we needed some food (i am a diabetic you see) so went to chill in macdonalds for a bit...didnt take him long either..only about an hour or so!

Hi andy, yes i will be getting an ACT gauge however at the moment it is not needed urgently...can wait till my new engine and cooling setup goes in then i will run one. Its going to be a Pro Alloy front mount job when things are looking more complete on the engine front (still not started that project properly lol)

ive got about 6 gauges going into the car which should be fun to watch lol

gonna get a smaller plate looks a bit silly being full size and over hanging :)

was the bumper secured on properly or just thrown on?

some people are picky aint they   nah the bumper is only held on by 2 bolts...meant to be 4 bolts and 2 screws...thing is i only keep the bumper on for a few days at a time and then take it off to work on it again so no point in bolting it all back up properly only to take it off again

max...should have told me could have met up lol...but i didnt have the turbo with me lol
