306 Phase 1 D turbo fitting a new headunit...

Postby titley on Tue Sep 05, 2006 9:31 pm

So I got the old unit out with some distructive force  Now I have:

The new unit + cage
Little fascia attached onto front of new unit
Big replacement fascia

Which order do I put them in and what does the replacement fascia attach onto?

Also the old unit had a sort of knob thing coming out of the back, which I'm guessing fitted into the tunnel thing inside the dash, stopping the unit from rocking to much? Is this correct? If so should I try and remove it and fit it to the new unit?

Cheers
Sam
