not hard to do just have to be willing to part with the money to get the job done.

first read this:

http://www.fiestaturbo.com/content.php?page=fitting17s

you may be able to get away with uprated shocks and springs but there is no better way to go than getting coilovers. but again these are pretty expensive. looking at anything between £400 - £800 depending on your choice.

secondly you will need to heavily mod your arches both inner and out. this will set u back about £250.

if your up for it, then go for it!

having just one wheel on, and having 4 wheels on and driving to totally different ballgame. the rears are the shocks that are prone to being hit by the alloys.

but yes you could get away with just springs if ur lucky.

well most ppl will junk the inner arch linings and some will go the extra mile and re-attached them as they are screwed, abit higher up the inner arch. depends how bad they catch.

With the Si you don't need to alter the shocks to run 17's. As Chumkilla said you need to remove the arch liners and the arches need to be ground back so you may have to look at rs arch trims to cover the gap.

Don't go any lower than 35mm and if you intend to go for shocks as well then your only choice is coilovers.
