Re: 37K Ford Fiesta
I would colour code the standard bumpers, mirrors and door handles, then paint your spoiler. Add a rear wiper and some 13" XR2i/Ghia alloys.

Minstral :thought you was going to leave it alone
a standard "Ford " spoiler is hardly modifying it , plus ford just fitted them onto what ever car they wanted and sold them with spoilers anyway.... so no diffirent

not that anyone used the term modifing it
i agree though, OEM+ isnt something to frown apon, especially when your young and bored, i used to say my Si wouldnt be enhanced
now look at it i even said the 1.8 wouldnt go in it!

Re: 37K Ford Fiesta
well imo if your planning to paint the bumpers, paint the spoiler too
but if not leave them all standard, or do what i done and respray them Satin!
looks much better, dont forget your roof rack strips

Re: 37K Ford Fiesta
some may be pleased , some may not , but its getting close to the decision of stick her on the road ! , im thinking its a car , whats the point in having a car that cannot be driven , if to worry about mileage etc
change of plan , if i did put it on the road it wouldnt get done , tarting the mk4 up a bit instead so i like it

Re: 37K Ford Fiesta
It's good to see someone putting this effort into keeping one of these standard Rhys!
Rather than trying for a fast engine + rs/si kit.
I'm sure somewhere down the line mr zetec will pop round though and convince you to sleeper it :')

Re: 37K Ford Fiesta
having a few troubbles with the painting , spoke to a paint sprayer and says the such a small area is a problem , so going to take it to the edge of the bootlid in the corner , and up to the boot lock for below the lock.

Re: 37K Ford Fiesta
good job
but personally id never had masked like that, a sudden stop in the paint layers leaves a big step, when you take the tape and masking away, your left with a solid line thats very hard to sand back

the masking tape was curled at the edges every time , can you not tell from the finished thing? its not been wet sanded or anything.
UNLESS your refering to first way i tried , which the area was way to small to work with , which is why changed my method as shown today.
