well gutted i dident get pics for you to laugh at but basically..

there was our little cruise going around last night with 5 cars not racing really just following

we were going up the duel carrigeway

dan- corsa up front
me - fiesta
darrell - zetec s fiesta
louis - rover 416 gsi
lewis - zetec s fiesta

basically dan passed this lorry and got away but as i went up the side of the lorry he indicated and started pulling over...i dropped back a bit but he swerved into our lane ....i slammed on the brakess just missing the lorry...darrel slammed on his went up the back of me..louis slammed on his went up the back or darrell and lewis slammed on his went up the back of louis. my car has smashed back bumper....darrell zetec s smashed bonnet...headlights...rear bumper.....
louis rover smashed head lights smashed rad...smashed bonnet...smashed boot...
and lewis just his bumper.

next thing..subaru pulls up..unmarked police...we were all polite...told us to sort it out between us obviously sayin whos fault it was ...i.e who pays for whos....but the lorry hu caused it...pi$$es off..GREAT

o well i dont pay for nothing because i was at the front but its principal...none of us were actually speeding...and had a good stopping distance it was just too quick for reactions

It does make me laugh that kind of comment. The stopping distance was nowhere near good enough as you all piled into each other! At least no-one was hurt.

in other words you were all driving far far to close for the speed you were doing.

If you dropped back then if the other drivers had any common sense they would have also dropped back if they were paying attention to what was happening in front of them!

It may make you all think about driving so bloody close to each other in future as if it had of happened at any speed then it would of been alot worse!

They are lucky they were not all reported for driving without due care and attention, if the copper was me i would have pressed for the charge for all of your friends as they clearly were not driving a safe stopping distance so with out due care.

Cars are not toys, yes there has been oh s**t moments i have had that boiled down to stupidity and nieveity but you try and learn from them and never repeat the same mistake twice if you have. There are far far to many stories of young people killed in crashes that never need of happened and boiled down to showing off or stupidity which just shows why the insuance is so bloody high for young drivers!

Nice one Steve

I'm going to have to agree with the majority here. The lorry might have pulled out but that's why you have "safe distances" incase people do such thing, well there you go, this is why you have that "2 second rule." I assume you'll be using it next time you're on the road! As for who's fault it was? Well, you're all to blame really, congrats :).

Been trying to find the words really, but Wayne put it better than I could have.

At the end of the day we all know what its like to be in a convoy but if you really did leave enough space that wouldn't have happened. Tell your mates to stop driving like dicks before they come out of a car into a wooden box.

you said you were following the corsa, yes you may have dropped back but by looks of it you to were prob far to close to him before he dropped back if everone else is that close to each other! A the story wasnt one of we were driving far to close to each other to have sufficient stopping time when you first posted!

I dont really call a crash of any sort funny and i defo wouldnt if my mates had run into me driving like 'conquering device'$!
