4x4 Sierra Cosworth calipers, HELP PLEASE!!!!

Postby Cage on Sun Feb 12, 2006 5:08 pm

Right peeps

I have got what i think is a set of cosworth calipers from a 4x4 sierra as they are single pot and not 4 pot as found on the 2WD's.

Now here's the thing, does anyone have a few pics of a 4X4 caliper off of a car or the part number that is stamped on the caliper so i can check to see if mine are correct?

Also what disks do you use as i heard you use 2WD disks but just need someone to tell me that this is correct?

Cheers

You will need 4x4 discs and calipers. The 4x4 calipers are single piston as opposed to the 2wd which are 4 pot 8)

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

I just thought that 4pots would be alot better than single pot cosworth items, or is it just way too much power? Are they way harder to fit then?

4x4 one's are a very good fit 4pot are not.The 4x4 one's stop a 227bhp, 5.7 0-60 so they should stop around 950kg 200bhp fiesta turbo :)
