Yeah thanks, I was looking at your site, I`ve been having problems finding a body shop to do my car. You do all the stuff I want. Have you got any prices cos I`ve no idea how much it`ll cost. So do most skirts fit 5 doors?

RS 2000 skirts fit 5 doors but im sure most others could be modified to fit. Give me a list of what you want done to the motor and ill give you a rough estimate.

5 door 1.1, kitted up, with genuine si bumpers and fibresports RS2000 skirts, that was back in 1997 and a bit tame nowadays.

sadly no longer with us

Well I want a cossie bumper, all the plastic crap down the sides of the doors and that removed, boot delocking and dewipering. Si rear bumper, some small roof tip spoiler and RS2000 skirts and that arch kit. I want to get it all filled and smoothed. I`ve never modded a car but I reckon I could fit some stuff, I`m an engineer so I`m not useless. Which bits are relatively simple to fit? I was hoping to add the bits I can do then get it finished and smoothed later, my mate gave me his Venoms today, they look mint

Bumpers are the easiest to fit, unbolt the old ones and bolt on the new ones!

damn it! i've got some GRP XR2i sideskirts and arches sat in my garage, and my car looking rather shocking on my drive!

I have to say that I'm not impressed with the quality. They've got scratches and digs in, where bubbles have formed in the mould.

If any one can do me an XR2i 5-door set - that fits like standard with some genuine front and rear bumpers, I'll do them a £2,000 website, and host it for only £5 a week.

Any takers....?

If you are interested, email me at work, the address is matt@ebizz.co.uk

Cheers.

I dont know the exact paint is but I think it might be Mercury Metallic Grey. Anyone know where I can get hold of smoked front and rear lights at a good price?

Yeah this Brummie at work started calling me Tower cos I`m quite tall and menacing. Selecta!!!!!!

yeah, i want to see those skirts and arches!

i held my 3-door GRP kit upto the side, and they'll need a good bit of cutting and shutting. the rear arch will be cut, to follow the door edge, and bond the whole lot on, so that as you open the door, the arch comes with it...

i covered the rear arches in masking tape, and marked round where they'll need cutting. i'm afraid to touch the things, because i have this feeling i'll end up surrounded by a pile of hacked bits, with no car! d'oh!

never mind, i'll just have to wait for the garage to sort it out!

i'm going to get them blended in, like on the feature car on this site - the metallic greeny/blue one.

should look okay. what d'you lot think?

i was going to get a bat motorsport front bumper, and a mk5 zetec-s rear, all blended into the body, but i can't afford to, otherwise i'll have to run it around looking silly on 13" steel wheels!

gotta get some 15" fox evo2's... £450 ish from Halfords! with 195/45 rubber! good, eh?!?

Sounds good! I think if I don't find a decent set of arches/skirts soon I may do the same - just I didnt want to do the cutting and hacking either!

I got my 14" Fox's from halfords only a month ago, cost £340! Did you ask for your 15% off 'cus whne I got mine ther was a small sign saying you can get 15% off if you bought a set of alloys + tyres. I had to remind them though!!

no... i didn't know about that! thanks, mate!

I might sell my XR2i stuff to my mate who's got a 3-door, though.

I really want mk5 zetec-s side skirts, and rear bumper, though!!!

I'm getting on the phone to get some Si bumpers as soon as my cheque from work clears, though!

should look quite sweet.

i will probably get a seat cordoba splitter, and those alloys...

Then I'll be happy!

I killed my stereo the other day. I'm really into drum and bass, and it was pumping! then CRRSSCCCSSSHHH sort of noises came from my speaker!

Never mind... I'll cap them off when I get a sub and amp!

I wouldnt mind the front of the mk5 zetec-s but appently it don't fit right...so maybe not!

Whats that splitter look like then??

Probably the cones of your speakers are now nackered....never mind if you are getting new ones anyway!

keep up the modding...
