I'd never volunteer to help either, leave it to the people who have done it consecutively for the past few years I think.... it would be interesting to see what goes on to arrange it but I wouldnt wana take it on.

show-rules-please-read-vt166918/

I would volunteer to help organisation, but I have too hectic a schedule to be of any useful help. I am more than happy, on the day, etc, to set up gazebos or get people parked up etc.

Organising a show is a huge amount of work - I'm sorry to bring this up, but you haven't been here too long, and trying to organise a show without actually being at a few first is a damn hard task. I'm sure the "regular" organisers will continue this year.

Organising shows is a lot of work. However the task of arranging the stand itself pales in comparison to the task of getting people to understand that there is a payment deadline and if you haven't paid by then, then you're not going.

Seriously, it's not like the shows leap out of the bushes, "OMG, Ford Fair's running this year!? Since when!?!?"

I am more than happy to help set stuff up when i am at a show too, just don't fancy sorting the stuff out before the show, as i would be of no use due to me doing shift work at random times, and me not knowing what i am doing half the time anyway.

Why have a 5-door though if you're just going to 'disguise' the back doors  If you see it at a show, put the child-lock on, would love to see how they open then

M1K3Y_B :No offense mate, but it would be a bit pointless helping out as you have no idea how it works nor have you done a show before :P
Rather harsh imo. There's always something someone can do to help out even if it's just following instructions.

If he were to go up to the organisers and ask for something to do to help there would always be a job there.
