60mm drop!

just lowred my 2i 40mm with new shocks and springs ( only cheapo things!) now ive put me wheels on 7x15 masitaly vt5r and its just not low enuff. can i go down to -60mm with this size wheel???????????? :???:

Yea u should be able to as long as u have 195-45-15 tyres might scrub a bit depends on your offset?

mines lowered 60mm, and it rubs 3 up on 13"s! :mad:

every cars different so the only way to find out is to try it! :sad:

try getting a couple of fat blighters in the back and see if theres any contact. if the wheel looks like it 'll clear the arch then you should be able to drop it into the weeds! :grin:

chances are thought it'll rub like a dog on heat! :sad:

i had a tiny bit of rubbing so i just tapped out the rear wing very gently, it was over rubbing by about 1mm

damn i dropped my XR2I 30mm on 15" wheels with a 195/45 tyre and i still get bump scrub! may its time for new bushes and bumpstops ? hehehe
