7 Pin multi plug xr2i

Hi chaps,

Does anyone know what each wire on the 7 pin multi plug is used for (not the injector loom plug)

Im doing a conversion and this info would be amazing.

I know that the red is permanant live but im not sure what the others are for?

Car is an xr2i 8v cvh

The general rule is:
Red:permanent 12V
Black,(striped or not,depends on the application):switched 12V
Brown:Current return or earth
Green:Oil pressure

Tha above are true for a couple of Escorts and a Sierra,that I have worked on.I believe this is a general rule,but you should always measure with a multimeter as a precaution...
