Have a trackday comming up and am wondering how difficult/impossible it is to fit my cosworth wheels, there 205/60/15 and 8J - The reason for this is I dont want to wreck my normal tyres as the track is alittle harsh on the rubber.

My SI's been lowered about 60mm on Spax coilovers, I recently looked down the engine bay (s**t shield removed) and could see how close my normal wheels are to the coilovers so I am assuming I need some spacers at least

Next to no hope at all I'm afraid. 8J is too wide really for the Fes and on 15's you really want to stick to a 195/45/15. 205/60/15 are going to be touching the wheelarch as you drop the car off the jack.

Just shag your roadtyres mate. They will last better than you think they will. Just bear in mind you have to drive home on them and check the condition after each session

Its ok am trailering it there/back - My road tyres are 195/45/15s so not the cheapest to buy but I guess thats all in the price of the trackday

Determined to use these cossie wheels for something!

There's loads of 195/45/15's in V rating (up to 149mph) at about the £50 mark on http://www.mytyres.com

Get out there and spank them up :bonkers:
