i was jus wonderin how simple it is 2 have a 1.6 xr2 but swap d engine 2 1.3 so dat its stil got d looks but cheaper on insurance until i can afford 2 put d 1.6 bk in.is it a simple swap or is der loads of wk involved [ERRR] help wud b very helpful

Its actually very easy to do but not really worth it mate. A mate of mine put a 1.1 into and xr2 but the insurance was still too much. Its not just about the power its got a lot to do with the fact that its still an xr2! It makes no difference to a car thief, they see an xr2. Thats all the insurance company really cares about. It would be cheaper to insure than an outright xr2 but it still wont be as cheap as an 1.3. Best you get some quotes first.
