A few comments since the changeover
I loved the old site... guess i will get used to the new one eventually but it seems harder to navigate and only look at what you haven't seen before Maybe an experiment on colour changes or something to make the text stand out more from the background.
Things are a lot quieter since the change in layout
On the plus side.... WOOHOO NO MORE SLOW LOADS!!!!
Will there be another easy way to pay apart from Paypal.... D/D maybe?

Re: A few comments since the changeover
You've hit the nail on the head with "seems" harder to navigate. It's because you were using the old site for 18 months so got to know where everything was. Now it's all changed it's bound to take a bit of getting used to.
The text is black so the only way to make it stand out more is to increase the contrast by making the backgrounds lighter. They are already pretty light so any change will make them almost invisible.
Direct Debit can be done through PayPal, just link your bank account to your PayPal account and subscribe monthly. If your PP account doesn't have funds in it it will take them from your bank account.

In the older setup when you searched the member's list for everyone you could categorise them according to how many posts that person had. It still does this but doesnt give a ranked numerical value. On the front page section of the profiles we get this list about a person's activity; Joined date, Last visited, Total posts, Show your posts, Posts per day, Most active forum, Most active topic. Could we perhaps get another? Perhaps in the front page part we could have a post ranking section? Yes I am a geek.
