Actuator problems
Hi all.
My T03 converted FRST runs a -31 actuator.. But it is just doing 6 - 7 psi at the moment.
Before the car is going on the RR to get a fine-tune i want to make sure my Actuator is working properly.
I've heard the -31 actuator either holds NO boost.. or it hold's 14psi+ boost..
is this correct ??
other question: Can i place my T02 Forge uprated actuator on my T03 without any problems ??

Don't think u can switch T2 & T3 actuators m8.
U can adjust the boost by unscrewing the nut on the rod then turning the rod then tightening the nut up i think.

Hi Mik3y
I know i can turn up the actuator ..
But i've heard the -31 actuator only works well above 1 bar. (14 psi) under this boost it will work improperly..
but then again.. i've just heard this..
why you think you can't swap the T2 and T3 actuator ? of the rod-length is the same .. it will work .. although the T2 has a bend in the rod.. but this is for the T2 to clear the turbine housing.. and should not have any effect on the T3

What you have been told about the -31 is incorrect mate.
Its a linear rate spring and works fine from 8 - 15psi, or more with external assistance.
The T2 actuator wont fit because the band wont allow alignment with the wastegate.
Best Regards,
Stu
