Adjusting the actuator.

Postby TomFRST on Wed Apr 16, 2003 8:07 pm

My boost gauge is only hitting 0.3BAR on max boost :-? far too low for my liking, and i believe that a standard ECU will allow 8Psi (0.6BAR).
Is it just a case of adjusting the nut towards the actuator to increase my boost? Help much appreciated :Q :D

And how are you going to make sure there is enough fuel getting through after you turn up your boost ??

GET IT SET-UP PROPERLY

or you could being paying for a re-build very soon!

How many times do i have to say it!

Damn good advice there :D
You will also need to fix whats wrong with it, the locknut didnt come undone, the shaft adjust and the locknut re-tighten all on its own did it? ;)

Something has plainly broken :p

Amal valve is likely failed M8.

Best Regards,
