advice needed...215/40R16 tyres on a xr2i?

i currently have 195/45/16 on my zetec wheels with no problems or rubbing on my standard xr2i......
i was wondering if these would go on ok 215/40R16 ?
or would they be way too wide :oooh:

imho they are too wide. I would prefer to see 195/40/16 tyres on there

As above BUT i dont think you will fit those on that wide thats HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

205's fit.

And I know a friend who has fitted 215's to his Si on cosworth wheels instead of using a stupid stetch on them.

arch work is needed obviously.
