aem fuel and ignition controllers

Problem or technical question?

aem fuel and ignition controllers

Postby rsturbonutter on Tue Feb 18, 2014 8:01 pm

Anybody have any experience with these. I purchased an ecu with wiring harness for a zetec turbo. I am toying between using this to run my new zetec turbo build or swapping my current ecu with an OFAM unit from boostmonkeys. just want to know if the bargain I bought is any good. From what I can make out from a quick google search is that they are a good bit of kit but would like to hear from someone with experience of it first hand

Thanks in advance

I have thought about using ofam for quite sometime but didn't see the point as the cvh runs lovely as it is. I bought a Graeme goode manifold off eBay and the chap was selling the aem kit as well I put a cheeky bid on it and won it for next to nothing so thought that if its any good I will use it as it's got a 3 bar map sensor built in and can run all sorts of injectors and lambda sensors for more accurate fuelling

This is kit with a zetec loom all labelled what goes where

Go OFAM, you can't touch a fully programmable aftermarket ecu. Plus, Rob's a lovely bloke and always willing to help. :)
Nothing to see here...
