Aftermarket Fez Turbo Radiator

Postby TerryTurbs on Wed Apr 22, 2009 6:47 pm

Hi all, im looking for an aftermarket standard rad for my Fiesta RS Turbo. Had a lot of hassle with the last couple so im buying new. Anyone know the better places to buy regarding price and quality ? My local autoparts says they are obsolete and i dont want to try Ford themselves yet.

Any suggestions

Thanks

P.S. I been told the xr2i does and dosent fit and i believe it dosent yet the guy in the autoparts said to try an XR3 radiator :o !!! presuming this dosent make sense

Auto specialists do airtech ones in black or silver.

I'n not a fan of airtech ones as there a bit of a poor fit

I went for a Radtech one

its a proper arse to fit a xr2i rad to a standard FRST id imagine. i didnt have that problem when my piss poor FRST rad blew its end tank off. as id gone for a front mount intercooler and T3 conversion as well i had to make every thing fit in one go, so just went for a xr2i rad as id heard good results and they where right. i now have cooling like a normal car  and at 39 quid for a brand new radiator, id be happy to renew it once a year as a service item :D that said, this rad has seen about 4 years trouble free service so far :)

ive got a radtech one, really good fit and quailty!

i got them to make it widr for me tho as im using a front mount of theres so had it made to fill all of the gap to right by the intercooler pipes to get maximum cooling.

Radtech too for me, looks nice and works a treat even on higher than std boost.
