Plenty of companies out there that will more than likely give you a lower quote, mainly goes on NCB though. As long as you want to put the time and effort in by getting quoted by everyone you should find it cheaper.
I went to well over 50 companies to get my insurance, was worth it in the end though

Young drivers pay loads. I paid 1400 when i was 17 on a standard 1 liter mk3 fez! Best bet is to earn some no claims.
Just because I keep talking about definetly doing it doesn't mean I'm actualy going to do it.

£200 Fully Comp 2004 Fiesta Zetec TDCi
Age 23 6 yrs NCB
at 17
£900 Fully Comp 1996 Fiesta Classic (A 4 year old car at the time)
However I still can't get a decent quote on a standard Fiesta RS1800. When I was looking for one in November I couldn't get a quote for less than a grand
Try Direct Line or Tesco's (same company and cheaper online)

Miss Fiesta Turbo :Diamond!
Noooooooo Do not renew with them they are fudgekin arseholes. All part of the Admiral/Elephant group. They may be cheap but so is their cover and you will end up screwed in the event of a claim. I'v e had massive rows with Diamond when my sister was hit by a third party. For a non fault claim they were useless and I know of more cases of them being utter crap.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
