Air Filter for 1.1i HCS (1994 M-Reg)
Hi,
Im pretty new to the whole modding business, and ive been searching around (with no luck) for an air filter that will bolt onto my 1.1HCS engine in me mk3 fez, just want it to combine with s/steel backbox for a nice throaty (and rattly) noise
Any info would be much appreciated,
Cheers Lads,
Rich
PS. If you could reccomend any other simple basic engine mods i could do for a little extra power, that would be great

i just cut the air pan up under the bonnet. if you cut along the sides or even drill holes in it then the air still goes through the filter but gives you that induction noise. it worked for me with a cerry bomb exhaust on the back gives a nice noise from the engine, nearly covers up the tappet noise.

That's what I did on my A4 and then bunged a K&N panel in. Lots of induction noise and the chive scum look in disbelief as they get wasted by an estate making that noise
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
