Air Filter for a 1.6s

SHOULD be the same as for a Mk2 XR2. Air filter housing may be slightly different size. You should find the carb part number stamped into the side of the carb body - this is difficult to see when it's dirty and they usually always are, so clean it up with a little bit of petrol and an old toothbrush.<br><br>Regards<br>Craig

Hi all,<br><br>This is my first post so please be gentle just wondering if anyone knows if you can get a k&n or something of equal standard to fit and if so where can you get them from when i rang k&n they asked for the number stamped into the air filter but i couldnt find it do you know what they mean any help would be appreciated.

Take the standard air filter out, then just shove a Piper-Cross sock over then intake (about £15 for a pair) - used on the ends of carbs, and much cheaper than a pain in the a*** K&N...

Give Roadrunner a ring mate, do all K&N stuff, in fact I'll be going down there cos I need a K&N panel for mine!
