Postby RS1800pec on Wed Aug 09, 2006 11:04 am

How many people have all in one dvd, cd player with built in flat screen and what models you got?

Was thinking of getting one! Anyones to avoid etc.. Ive seen a few cheaper ones on ebay for about £200 but not shore if there worth it.

I have a Pioneer AVH-P5700 DVD:

DVD/DVD-R/DVD-RW
CD/CD-R/CD-RW
MP3
Touch screen control
Seperate sub-output, soyou can cut power if you want to
Loads of other three letter abbreviations I don't understand

Very nice unit, was about £550 when I bought it, so it's a little bit on the pricey side, but then for H/Us I've had 3 Pioneers and not a single fault, so it'm willing to pay to always have Pioneer. Would have loved to have the AVIC-X1 but at £1800 it's a bit rediculous.

KEVFRST :I have the Avic X1.

Smart arse :P Bet it's nice though :)

The AVH has a plug in port for the aerial, but you need to use a seperate CD kinda like using autoroute.

Mine's like a cut down version to the X1, still has stuff like iPod port, sat nav ready, vehichle diagnostics port.

My mate is getting me a free remote control too :D

get that i nearly bought it but everyone told me not to as they all think it will get nicked

But with alpine you know your getting good stuff!

For and extra £130 i think it will be the better option rather than getting some chinese made what might not last
