alloy crank and alternator pulley's

right i have seen some alloy alternator and crank pulleys on ebay and know the reduce the load on the engine due to the moment of inertia being less, but the main question i have regarding them is do they still spin the alternator enough to produce the full output of the alternator?

as i dont want to spend the money on them only to find that they dont get my 90amp alt producing 90amps!

they just reduce the parasitic power of the pulleys themselves because, as you said, they reduce the power needed to turn them as an alloy one is obviously lighter than a cast one. with regards to the alternator, they wont alter the revs going into the alternator so it wont affect them. at all.

as the alternator is crank driven it doesnt matter what the pulleys are made from. they could be made of cheese for all the difference they would do.
8 slices, 4 Sandwiches.

good good, thought that was the case but didnt want to get them and realise that i was then not getting the full output of the 90amp alt that i have got.
