alternator pully

Whats the best way to remove the alternator pully from the engine crank without damaging it?

unbolt it and use a hub puller.

other ways i have done it is use a rubber mallet to tap it off.

both ways didn't damage the pulley

cheers mate i think i will buy a hub puller tmw and do it that way

i take it a hub puller is like a 3 legged puller?

I bought a hub puller today and its pulled it straight off with no damage

i just went... ARRRRRGGGGGGH,,, RRRRRGGHHHHH, RGHHH, YAR!
no damage, apart from my front teeth when it finaly did come off
