Alternator

Any ideas if the 1.4 Si alternator will work on the 1.6 Si?

I'm fairly sure the fitment is identical.

I've hada search now and found out that the 1.4 is most prob 50amp and I need a 70amp.

As I need a new one, maybe a 90amp would be better.

Anybody know if the RS 1800 alternator will fit the 1.6 si. Surely they will as they are both zetec engines?

i have a 90 am of a td escort on my feasty and it fitted fine.
