which companies mod amal valve on rst2<br>any ideas please

As mentioned on the other amal topic, why do you want to mod it?<br>To increase the boost, you CAN fit a bleed valve, but they are unreliable and can cause the engine to detonate, meaning a blown engine and lots of money.<br>Any respectable tuner like M.A.D. or Graham Goode will increase the boost by adjusting the actuator...You might have noticed that good tuning suppliers sell uprated chips with a new actuator? This is to help give the chip EXACTLY the right amount of boost (more reliability) for the engine to run smoothly.<br><br>My advice is to leave the amal valve alone, fit a -31 actuator if you want to run more boost, and NOT to fit a bleed valve, or a dump valve as these will lose a small amount of boost.<br><br>Jeff
